Our Story

The Discovery

Brotha Whiskey is the culmination of my journey through life—rooted in the culturally rich streets of Northeast Portland, where I was raised, and shaped by my experiences as a proud HBCU graduate and seasoned engineer. Having navigated the corporate landscape, I quickly recognized the glaring lack of diversity within the whiskey industry, particularly the absence of Black-owned brands. This realization fueled my mission to craft a premium whiskey that not only offers an exceptional tasting experience but also resonates deeply with both newcomers and seasoned whiskey connoisseurs, reflecting the stories and heritage that inspire us.

The Legacy

After much thought and deliberation, I decided to turn this vision into a reality. Brotha Whiskey was born out of a deep-seated desire to honor his journey and the bonds of fellowship that had shaped my journey.
